it's been like 2 months, can we stop tagging stuff with "geometry dash"
parts of the mix are irritating as hell and there's no bass, also a little too repetitive

Like I said, this was quick and nothing special. I was just experimenting with Tropical House. Also, yeah, I got lazy and just copy-pasted the first "drop" for the end of the song. Also, there is a bass, but I just used a normal guitar and made the bass on really low notes, might not be the easiest bass to hear. AND, I tag stuff with Geometry Dash because...
A. Its my favourite game and I want people to maybe use my songs in the future.
B. Creates a higher chance of people clicking my songs and reviewing them so I can get better and possibly more popular, especially since I don't want to lose my scouting now that the new song rule for Geometry Dash is up.
Thanks for the review though, I will take everything into consideration. ;)
On some Black Sun Empire type ish right here

Kickass. Love the layering in the drop. Just one thing: the intro and buildup are really loud, which makes the drop hit less hard when it gets there.
I used to make the intro and buildup 10% less loud, but it sounds less professional. So I don't do that anymore, the drop is now 2.5% louder than the other parts
Back off the master gain and give the mix some more low mids, and this'll sound fantastic. Other than that, the melody needs work to be memorable, but you'll get that eventually.
Ah, alrighty, thanks for your review!
Other than just not being all that sad, this definitely isn't in key, and the "mix" itself (even if it's just one instrument" hurts my ears.
Watch your instrument balance! Some sounds are WAY TOO LOUD and other are getting drowned out. And I'm pretty sure this is clipping in a few places.
Yeah, I think the low strings are definitely too overpowering in a lot of sections. Not hearing any clipping, though.
Check your instrument balance (hats are WAY TOO LOUD for one example) and watch your stereo field. Some sounds could use a little width.
Thanks for the input! Always looking for advice involving improvement. :]
