On some Black Sun Empire type ish right here

Kickass. Love the layering in the drop. Just one thing: the intro and buildup are really loud, which makes the drop hit less hard when it gets there.

KaixoMusic responds:

I used to make the intro and buildup 10% less loud, but it sounds less professional. So I don't do that anymore, the drop is now 2.5% louder than the other parts

Back off the master gain and give the mix some more low mids, and this'll sound fantastic. Other than that, the melody needs work to be memorable, but you'll get that eventually.

RiSUKU responds:

Ah, alrighty, thanks for your review!

Watch your instrument balance! Some sounds are WAY TOO LOUD and other are getting drowned out. And I'm pretty sure this is clipping in a few places.

PikmanDude responds:

Yeah, I think the low strings are definitely too overpowering in a lot of sections. Not hearing any clipping, though.

Check your instrument balance (hats are WAY TOO LOUD for one example) and watch your stereo field. Some sounds could use a little width.

Googlebugger responds:

Thanks for the input! Always looking for advice involving improvement. :]

Kickass, but the mix could be cleaner. The kicks are getting completely buried, and the rhythm guitars are drowning the leads, which is a problem for such a lead-driven track. A low cut on the rhythm guitars would help bring out the bass, too.

Wolfrain64 responds:

Thanks for the advice dude!

The bass is off to a good start, but the chords need some serious low-end support. VR usually has a separate bass under his chords to beef them up.

VR actually made the Lunar drop on his livestream, and you can find it on YouTube; check it out if you need hints. Good luck!

Lubloom responds:

I did add the bass but I forgot to turn it on when rendering in FL like an idiot XD
Added it now :)

Add a bass, find better drums, and clean up the mids, and it'll be all right.

Snakewine responds:

thank you for the tips!!!
I will practice that things 'ㅂ'

Well, damn. This is some pretty legit glitch hop. Reminds me of Auvic but wonkier.

I've really got to stretch for this, but speaking of Auvic, that piano at the end will sound dope af if you do a little humanizing and switch up the velocities. Anyway, 10/10 would bump

DJ-Zyzyx responds:

Never heard of Auvic... maybe I should go take a listen. Thanks so much for the review. And about the piano thing, yeah I got lazy, I changed the velocities and nothing happened so I just gave up lol XD
